Our client, a prestigious national private healthcare group, urgently requires part time (20 hours) Scrub Nurses/Theatre Practitioners for their hospital based in Aberdeen.

The Hospital comprises of 30 beds, 3 operating theatres and a minor operation suite. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a consistently high standard of patient care and have the ability to circulate in other areas of Theatre.

Successful applicants will be afforded the opportunity to develop their clinical skills/experience with a progressive, supportive employer in a multi-disciplinary theatre environment. This is an excellent opportunity for RGN's/ODP's with broad-based theatre experience to utilise their acquired knowledge across Scrub.

Applicants must be qualified RGN's/ODP's and hold full NMC/HPC registration. A minimum of two year’s post-qualification and competence across a range of skills will also be required. The ideal candidate essentially will be competent in the following areas:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to support and lead a team
• Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills across a range and varied patient case mix and competent across a range of skills
• Evidence of working in partnership with Consultants to explore and challenge existing practices while maintaining and enhancing services and standards.

Qualifications which are desirable but not essential are:

• ILS
• ALS
• External Advanced Scrub Practitioner Qualification
• ENB 998, Mentorship Course
