The Network Specialist provides advanced network technical expertise and timely support to ensure network stability, scalability and performance. Looking for a long-term cooperation, schedule 10:30 — 19:00 remotely within Ukraine, focus on Cisco and Palo Alto.
Responsibilities
— Responsible for on-going maintenance of the entire network infrastructure.Includes routers, switches, F5 appliances, security updates and other network assets such as Linux-based servers and tools.
— Assist in the successful planning, installation, configuration and integration of new network infrastructure, such as routers, switches, and FlexPod compute infrastructure (Cisco UCS, Netapp storage arrays).
— Schedule after-hours maintenance windows, coordinate partner notifications as well as coordinate internal QA department resources for any production changes.
— Provides troubleshooting expertise for system and/or network operating issues and ensures that any and all security threats and/or network attacks are appropriately mitigated.
— Monitor network performance using existing deployed tools and able to test and deploy new tools that may be required to improve network visibility.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, testing, troubleshooting and monitoring Data Centre Networks.
- Spoken English
- Proficient on the TCP/IP stack as well as the most common routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, Ethernet and Spanning-Tree Protocol (Minimum CCNP level networking knowledge). Advanced working knowledge on Cisco IOS-XE, IOS-XR, and NX-OS operating systems. Advanced working knowledge on F5 BIG-IP LTM load balancers, or equivalent Application Delivery Controller experience.
- Solid knowledge and experience managing Next Generation Palo Alto firewalls or equivalent.
- Hands on experience with VPN technologies such as IPSec, Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPNs. Exceptional troubleshooting, investigational and problem-solving skills, with ability to quickly identify and mitigate issues.
- Experience analysing Netflow and Network performance metrics to quickly identify DDoS attacks.
- Linux system administration experience with ability to troubleshoot and deploy network monitoring tools within a Linux environment.
- Working knowledge of VMware virtual networking or equivalent. Applied scripting experience or applied knowledge of network automation tools such as Ansible.
- Above all, a strong candidate for this role will need to demonstrate a willingness to learn and an appetite for being up to date on the latest and upcoming Networking technologies.
