Detailed specification about this vacancy opportunity please read the description below. My Client is a nationwide provider of independent mental health and learning disabilities services. We are seeking to recruit a Deputy Manager for two of their learning disabilities services in Lochwinnoch, Renfrewshire. The successful application will be a first level Registered Nurse, preferably RNLD, but will consider RMN/RGN with experience of working with people with learning disabilities and complex needs. If not nurse qualified, appplications will be considered however applicants must demonstrate management experience of learning disabilities services. Reporting to the Home Manager, you will be responsible for providing high quality evidenced based care on an individual and collective basis. You will support the home manager in the line management and supervision of team members.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to be able to assess and prioritise clinical situations. The management of effective communication between nursing, care staff and external professionals, both verbal and written, is a key element of this role.
