We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person to lead a team supporting the provision of pre-school care and education to children aged 2 Â - 5 years. Applicants must be eligible to register with Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) and should hold a minimum qualification of SVQ4 in Childcare, Learning & Development (or equivalent). The qualification must enable registration with SSSC as a manager in an early years service and the applicant must be willing to work towards Level 9. Registration with GTC or Nursing and Midwifery Council will also be acceptable.
Experience and knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence are essential. Denman Playgroup is registered by the Care Inspectorate and is a member of Scottish Pre-school Play Association.
