We require an experienced Researcher to play a key role in the process evaluation of a trial evaluating two parenting interventions with vulnerable pregnant women. The process evaluation will investigate: the fidelity of programme delivery; practitioners’ characteristics, perceptions and motivation; mothers’ engagement; the importance of different intervention components; and contextual factors facilitating or inhibiting delivery and participation.
The successful candidate will gather process evaluation data through questionnaire surveys, interviews, focus groups, intervention observations, etc. Some travel will be required to conduct this research.
S/he will hold an undergraduate degree in psychology, sociology or other relevant discipline (2:1 or above) and a ! masters or PhD degree in a relevant discipline. Further essent! ial requirements are experience of qualitative and quantitative research methods, experience of working with vulnerable client groups, as well as excellent organisational and interview skills.
