NHS GRAMPIAN Elmwood, Royal Cornhill Hospital, Aberdeen, North East Scotland Mental Health Nursing - Staff Nurse Band 5 21,176 - 27,625 per annum Full-time 37.5 hours per we! ek A position has arisen for a trained nurse to work within the learning disability service which comprises of Bracken Assessment Treatment Unit / Fern Close Supervision Unit and Hawthorn Day Unit. Elmwood provides care for individuals with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and mental health problems. The postholder will be expected to work rotational shifts across both day and night duty. The postholder should hold first level RNLD qualification.
The postholder must show willingness to participate in continued personal development under Knowledge Skills Framework for Band 5 post. On occasions the postholder will be required to manage a small staff team and experience of this nature is desirable but not essential. You should possess effective communication skills and have the ability to work as an individual and as part of a team We need an individual with enthusiasm and commitment who will enjoy the challenge the role offers.
