Our client is an established community focused charitable organisation that provides residential nursing care to the elderly in Glasgow. They currently have an exciting permanent full time job opportunity fo! r a Night Shift Team Leader/Staff Nurse (RGN or RMN) based in Glasgow. The role involves working in a 40 bedded unit.
The successful candidate will act in a supervisory capacity liaising with the management team and overseeing the senior support workers and support workers on shift.
The working hours are night shift working any 4 days out of 7. Applicants will have previous experience working with the elderly in a hospital/ nursing home setting and be familiar with acute needs. Candidates will oversee residents care and ensuring care plans are actioned and up to date. Duties will also include: administering medication, peg feeding, stomas, catheter care, wound care and bloods. You will be in charge of directing staff, health and safety, risk assessments and ensuring a quality standards are met in accordance with the Care Inspectorate.
You will report directly to the Duty manager and be responsible for deputising in the Deputy manager and Home Mana! gers absence.
