NURSING AUXILIARY (2 POSTS)

SALARY: £14,508 â! €" £17,253 PRO RATA
BAND 2 â€" HOURS: 1 X 36 HOURS WORKED OVER 5 DAYS, 1 X 18 HOURS WORKED OVER 3 DAYS ALL POSTS WILL INCLUDE TWILIGHT OR NIGHT DUTY EQUIVILENT HOURS INCLUDING WEEKEND WORKING
Ward 2 St Andrews Community Hospital is a 16 bedded unit. We provide transitional care for the elderly as well as Specialist Palliative Care.
An opportunity has arisen for Auxiliary Nurses to join our multi-disciplinary team, to deliver high quality, patient centered care. We are looking for individuals with good communication skills and an enthusiasm to maintain a high standard of patient care.
You will deliver a range of care at the highest standard, directed by qualified staff and will be expected to work regularly without direct supervision.
If successful in your application, you will be offered the opportunity to undertake an SVQ2 or SVQ3 (dependent on band) in Health and Social Care, approximately 9 months after taking up post. It i! s expected that you complete this qualification, which will be! fully funded by NHS Fife. Your Line Manager will provide you with more information once you are in post.
