to join their team of Bank staff within the
OUTPATIENTS
Department.
Working on an “as and when required†basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence. The department is open from 7.45am until 9pm. The shift patterns are 8am until 9pm, 7.45am until 1.30pm, 7.45am until 3.45pm, 8am until 1.30pm, 8am until 4pm, 1pm until 9pm and 3pm until 9pm
It is
essential
that applicants are fully qualified Registered Nurses who meet the following criteria:
Current NMC Registration
Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
Good accurate, ! administration skills
The ability to work as part of ! a multi-disciplinary team
Basic IT skills
Some Cardiology experience
Applicants should also be competent in all duties required for the smooth running of an outpatient department within an acute care hospital.
Duties of this role include:
Participation in the planning of the Treatment Room and Out Patient Department thereby ensuring efficient and effective utilisation of rooms and equipment.
Delivering nursing care to patients attending the treatment room, assisting medical staff when required.
Ensuring adequate stock levels of drugs and equipment.
Provision of technical support for Cardiology Consultants.
IT support for consultants.

The hospital also provides Health Services including Counselling, Private GP Service, Travel Health, and Health Screening. Over 100 consultants practise at BMI Albyn Hospital. They are supported by caring and professional medical staff, with dedicated nursing teams and a resident medical officer on duty 24 hours a day.
