We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and confident Ophthalmology O! ut Patients Nurse to work for a private hospital. You will be responsible for the management and development of the ophthalmic services predominantly within the outpatient team.
The role will involve day to day management of the ophthalmic clinics as well as the development of clinical protocols and staff competencies to support the development and effective delivery of new services. The role will allow the individual to develop audit tools which will accurately reflect the outcomes of private cataract surgery, the results of which can be used for future marketing or private services.
You must be NMC (UK) registered, experience in biometry measurements is essential and you must have a desire to train in OCT. It is also necessary that you are a registered nurse with ophthalmic experience and should have sound written and verbal communication skills.
