An opportunity has arisen within Inverclyde Royal Hospital to support the dev! elopment of a new Respiratory Physiology Service. We are looking for individual with skills and knowledge to take this new service forward. You will work closely with Consultants and Nursing Staff in Respiratory Medicine and other clinical physiologists within Greater Glasgow and Clyde in the Respiratory / Sleep Physiology Service which will include undertaking clinical physiology tests on patients to inform clinical diagnosis for patients. In addition you will assist in the provision of a sleep related breathing disorder and diagnostic and therapeutic service. You will ensure all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are carried out in accordance with national occupational standards and clinical guidance. It is essential you have a Clinical Physiology Degree including ARTP Part 1 and Part 2 Professional Competencies or equivalent level (HNC and specialist training courses and experience). You must also be State Registered under the Health Care Professions Council. You shou! ld also be able to demonstrate competency of practical skills ! for performing respiratory assessments and have relevant underpinning knowledge. This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check. The hours of this post are worked Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.
