Linlathen Neurodisability Centre is a 50 bed unit situated in a semi-rural location on the outskirts of Broughty Ferry near Dundee. We cater for a wide range of conditions and part of the c! entre is a specialist unit for people with Huntingtons Disease. Clients are supported with day to day living and nursing care is provided for those with low, medium and high care needs. The Centre is a short walk from the closest bus stop and there are other amenities nearby. The Centre prides itself in support its staff through training and development and has a close knit team.

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, and under the line management of the Clinical Ward Manager, the post holder will have responsibility for the co-ordination and operational management of the nursing team across the rota and will work flexibly on day and night shifts. The post holder will have responsibility for the nursing contribution to the multi-disciplinary assessment of need and implementation and evaluation of programmes of care ensuring delivery of a high quality service.

In order to achieve this our Charge Nurse should have:
A flexible attitude and wholly ad! opt a person centred ethos. Be up to date with current practic! es, have strong leadership skills and be willing to take ownership for the delivery of quality care.

Must hold a current registration with NMC and have a legal right to work in the UK.

At least 3 years' experience in a similar role preferably within a Mental Health Setting.
