CLINICAL LECTURER IN DERMATOLOGY
£31,838- £56,312 per annum
Applications are invited from derma! tology specialty trainees with outstanding potential to develop into a clinical academic leader. This post will provide clinical training in dermatology along with an excellent opportunity to develop a research portfolio.
The post is part of the Scottish Clinical Research Excellence Development Scheme.
It is available to candidates who already hold a Dermatology National Training Number . The successful applicant will be expected to transfer to an East of Scotland Deanery NTN, and will hold an honorary clinical appointment as a Specialty Trainee in Dermatology.
The lectureship is for the duration of remaining specialty training, until CCT , and the postholder will spend 20% of their time developing a research programme in dermatolog y. They will be supported in applying for funding for an out-of-programme research period to pursue a higher degree (or to develop an independent research programme if a higher degree is already held) in the research a! reas of either photobiology, genetic skin disease or skin canc! er.
