The aim of the Stroke Nurse is to facilitate a smooth transition from hospital back into the community for people who have had a stroke and their families, through the provision of information, advice and support.
This position complements the stroke services provided by the NHS and is funded through a partnership agreement with NHS Grampian
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with the ability to work on his or her own initiative. Candidates must have a first level general nursing qualification and four years post-registration experience in either a hospital or community setting. Car is essential. Experience working with people affected by stroke is desirable.
