ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONER
FULL-TIME POSITION
Keith Health Centre is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated ANP to join our friendly, supportive team. We would be happy to consider splitting the position between two applicants.
We are a semi-rural practice with in-hours responsibility for a 19 bed community hospital, and a minor injury unit. We have a list size of 7,400 patients and our clinical team comprises 5 Partners, 1 GP Retainer, 3 Practice Nurses, 1 HCA, Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, and an experienced administration team.
The post holder will be expected to exercise a high degree of personal, professional autonomy as well as having confidence in dealing with face to face consultations, patients with undiagnosed conditions, minor illness and the management of both acute and chronic disease conditions. The post will comprise of a mixture of surgery consulting, triage and home visiting. Included in the role will be supporting the clinical team in providing cover for the attached community hospital (Turner Memorial Hospit al.)
Applicants must either hold an advanced nurse practitioner qualification, be working towards this (and within a few months of completion) or have other relevant, equivalent qualification(s). The post holder must have completed their advanced, independent, non-medical prescribing qualification. Extensive post registration experience is desirable, as is experience within Primary Care. Given the remit of the role the post holder will be expected to have access to a car and a valid UK driving license.
