Your role as a Recruitment Assistant will focus on building school relationships and partnerships to support our School Leaders in sourcing the best talent across the whole Trust. The Recruitment Assistant also manages the various sourcing and advertising channels to interaction with both active and passive candidates and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to attracting and engaging high-quality talent.
Duties will include:
- Produce forward thinking, engaging and industry specific job adverts for Teaching and non-teaching role for all phases and SET head office.
- Responsible for coordinating and arranging interview schedules along with obtaining references and role related checks required to adhere to safer recruitment practices.
- Ensure a positive and interactive candidate journey throughout the recruitment process.
- Collaborate with schools, market and HR teams on all recruitment matters.
- Responsible for creating and amending JD-PS for new positions.
- Monitoring positions and ensuring candidate attraction to live vacancies.
- Use social media to attract future or potential candidates to the Trust and assisting schools with their social media job creations.
To be successful in this position, you will possess:
- Minimum two years experience in a candidate/recruitment focused role.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Agile, fast paced and able to coordinate and manage conflicting priorities.
- Experience in executing strategic sourcing approaches including LinkedIn and Professional Networking.
- Willingness and ability to travel to school sites as appropriate.
- Previous end-to-end 360 recruitment experience in either an agency or in-house role.
- Experience working within a school setting.
Salary: G7, SCP 20 – 24 £25,878 - £29,440 FTE pay award pending
Working hours: Full time or Term Time only + 1 week (39 working weeks) 37 hours per week for full time
