The Job Purpose is to provide pharmaceutical care to renal patients in NHS Lanarkshire working ! with the Specialist Clinical Pharmacist (Renal). Additional Information Specific to the Role This post will be part of a team of non-medical (2 nurses and 2 pharmacists) and medical prescribers supporting renal patients requiring erythropoietin via a homecare service in NHS Lanarkshire. At present the development of this service will provide care for 140 patients. Holding the pharmacist independent prescribing qualification, or achieving successful completion of the Independent Prescribing course, is essential for this post. You will also work closely with the Specialist Clinical Pharmacist for renal to provide pharmaceutical care to patients receiving care in the NHS Lanarkshire centralised renal unit at Monklands.
