Further informations about this occupation opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Our client is seeking a Home Manager for a 7 bed home in Aberdeen. The home specialises in learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour.
The expected salary for this role w! ould be £27K depending on skills and experience.
The Home Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the day-to-day running of the home. Promoting a caring environment which provides residents with a high standard of specialised personal care, meeting individual needs and ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity. To supervise, monitor the care delivered to residents, checking legal requirements are met along with the high quality of care.

Duties would include, but are not limited to:
Maintain effective budgetary management and control, and achieve profitability
Responsible for invoicing and credit control
Establish and maintain systems and contacts to ensure a 'pipeline' of new service-users
Ensure that the Home operates in compliance with statutory and national minimal standards
Establish and maintain a high profile and reputation of the home, identifying key referral agencies and groups and maintaining relation! ships with them
Ensure safeguarding policies are adhered t! o
Assess the social needs and health needs of prospective service-users and monitor the planning and on-going evaluation of their care
Ensure that all staff are employed in accordance with H.R policies
Responsible for the supervision, appraisal, training and development of staff within the home
Manage the company's disciplinary and grievance policies and procedures liaising with the HR department as necessary

Essential candidate requirements include:
RMN of RGN qualified with experience working within a nursing home environment
Valid NMC pin number
Qualified at level 4/5 NVQ in care or management
Knowledge of CQC and all relevant acts and legislation
A sound understanding and ability in financial management and budgetary control
A passion for nursing and delivering high quality care
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ideal candidate would display proactive yet sensitive marketing abilitie! s and public relation skills to promote the Home and Company. They would have the ability to organise and deploy a large staff group, and the ability to recognise and develop additional opportunities for the service and its residents. With a good track record of meeting deadlines and delivering objectives in a timely manner, the perfect candidate would have experience of partnership working across agencies and sectors and will have the ability to contribute to a comprehensive training programme.Please note that if you have not been contacted within 7 days your application for this position has been unsuccessful.
