hospital in
ABERDEEN
This post is for 36 hours per week on a shift rota basis working 3 x 12 hour shifts. The department offers a service from 8am until 9pm Monday to Friday & 8am until 3pm on Saturdays.
It is essential that applicants are fully qualified Registered Nurses with current NMC Registration who meet the following criteria:
Good knowledge level for working within an outpatient department
Excellent communication skills
The ability to work as part of a multi disciplinary team
Team worker
Basic IT skills
Cardiology experience would be preferable however not essential
Duties of this role ! include:
Delivering a high standard of nursing care to! patients attending the treatment room and to assist medical staff when required.
Participating in the effective organisation and management of staff, patients, visitors, consultants, consulting and treatment rooms within the Outpatient Department.
Provision of technical support for Cardiology Consultants.
Download, retrieve and manage patient results, ensuring Data Protection regulations are followed.
Ensure patient investigations, procedures or Consultations are carried out in a timely manner.

They are supported by caring and professional medical staff, with dedicated nursing teams and a resident medical officer on duty 24 hours a day.
