Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate nurse to join their forward thinking team for their care home catering for older adults with Dementia. This position is a full time position, based over three 12 hours shifts per week. This role would mainly day shifts but with the potential for a rotation on night duty.
This role would suit a nurse who has a genuine interest in both elderly care and dementia care, and who is passionate about delivering high standards of care. As the nurse in charge, you would be responsible for leading the care team and delegating the workload to ensure all residents receive the very best of care. You would be a named nurse for a group of residents, and would be responsible for working with these residents to create and review person centred care plans. Other roles would include medication ordering and administering, regular service user reviews and providing direct hands on care.
In order! to be considered for this role you must:
Hold a curre! nt registration with the Nursing and Midwifery council (NMC)
Have sound clinical knowledge
Have experience of working in a similar role
Have strong leadership qualities
