About the role

The rewarding and diverse role of a Teaching Assistant can vary from day-to-day and from school-to-school. Depending on the role and the school you may work with children with a range of Special Educational Needs such as Autism, ADHD, SLCN and PD. Knowledge of one of more of this area would be desirable.

Primary, Secondary and SEN provisions across Saltash and the surrounding area.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:

  • To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will: Be kind, compassionate and caring Be able to build positive relationships with children Have a warm and friendly nature and be able to promote a safe and positive learning environment Mentor and engage with the students, successfully delivering specifically designed educational packages Be committed to completing to the required training participating in ongoing CPD Be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service
